Symbolically, the image of Death on a carousel implies the cyclic nature of "The End."

I prefer at more literal take: Death visiting the amusement park, caught up in a rare moment of carefree abandon and lost in the thrill of the ride.

That creeps me out to no end. I think it might be the missing mandible and the fact Death is still enjoying himself. Great work.
